Umrah Hotel Prices for Early January 2027: Medina and Makkah Room Rates

Planning Umrah for early January 2027 and arranging your own flights into Saudi Arabia? Many travellers book only the hotels through FJ Travels and Tours. Here is a look at what we quoted for a 7-night, two-city stay, so you can budget before you contact us.

The route

• Medina: 4 nights in early January
• Makkah: 3 nights, then departure from Jeddah

This is a hotel-only itinerary. Flights into Medina are booked separately, and the return flight from Jeddah is quoted on its own.

Hotels and what they cost

All rates below are in Canadian dollars. They are the total price per room for the whole stay, with bed and breakfast (BB).

Medina: Anwar Al Medina Movenpick (4 nights)

• Double room with breakfast: $2,125 CAD per room
• Quad room with breakfast: $2,650 CAD per room

Makkah: Jabal Omar (3 nights)

• Double room with breakfast: $1,350 CAD per room
• Quad room with breakfast: $1,580 CAD per room

Putting it together

Across both cities, one room for the full 7 nights comes to:

• Double room: $2,125 + $1,350 = $3,475 CAD per room
• Quad room: $2,650 + $1,580 = $4,230 CAD per room

A quad room with four single beds usually works out much cheaper per person than separate doubles. It suits families and groups travelling together.

What is included

• Hotel accommodation for the nights listed
• Breakfast daily (BB)
• Taxes

Flights, visas and transfers were not part of this hotel quote.

Good to know

• December is high season. Our team advised that December rates are higher, and that we can usually offer a better package price in January. If your dates are flexible, travelling in January can save money.
• Choose your Medina hotel by location. Hotels near Al-Masjid an-Nabawi differ in which gates and entrances they are closest to. Tell us your preferences when you ask for a quote.
• Room types matter. Tell us your group size and bed needs early. Quad rooms with single beds and accessible rooms are limited and sell out first in busy periods.
• Flights are quoted separately. We can price a return flight from Jeddah to Toronto in economy, premium economy or business class. Ask us for current fares for your dates.
