Toronto to Lahore with a Jeddah or Istanbul Stopover: Sample Fares for Winter 2027

• Option 1: Toronto to Lahore in early January, then Lahore to Jeddah in early February, about 2 days in Jeddah, then home to Toronto.

• Option 3: Return via Istanbul with a 3-day layover in early February, then on to Toronto.

What it costs

Toronto to Lahore with a 2-day Jeddah stay

• Fixed dates, quoted fare: $2,495 CAD
• Turkish Airlines: adult $2,050 CAD, child $1,845 CAD

Toronto to Lahore return only

• PIA: $1,780 CAD per person with 1 piece of checked baggage, or $1,950 CAD per person with 2 pieces
• Turkish Airlines: adult $1,995 CAD, child $1,865 CAD (about $1,990 CAD in an earlier quote)
• Emirates (2 stops): $2,230 CAD
• Qatar Airways: $2,390 CAD in the first quote

Turkish Airlines with a 3-day Istanbul stay on the way back

• Adult $2,115 CAD, child $1,940 CAD. That is only about $15 CAD more per person than the Turkish Airlines return-only fare quoted for the same trip.

• Other return dates were quoted at around $2,440 CAD

Good to know

• Baggage matters. PIA's lower fare includes only 1 checked piece. Moving to 2 pieces added $170 CAD per person, so check your allowance before comparing airlines.
• A stopover can be cheap. Adding 3 days in Istanbul on Turkish Airlines cost very little extra compared with flying straight back, so it is worth asking for.
• Child fares are lower. Turkish Airlines and Qatar Airways both quoted separate, lower child fares.
• Dates change the price. Moving the return by a few days on Qatar Airways pushed the fare up to roughly $2,440 CAD. If your dates are flexible, ask for a few options.
• Know your return date. If you must be back at work by a certain day, tell your agent early so they only check flights that fit.
• Emirates routing. The Emirates fare quoted had 2 stops, which means a longer journey.
