Toronto to Bangalore with Etihad: $1,377 CAD Return Fare Example

Planning a trip from Toronto to Bangalore? Southern India is one of the busiest destinations we book, and fares can vary a lot by season. Here is a recent example of what we quoted for a September departure with a return in early October, so you can see what a fair price and baggage allowance look like.

The route

• From: Toronto (YYZ)
• To: Bangalore (BLR)
• Airline: Etihad Airlines
• Travel period: departing after the first third of September 2026, returning in early October 2026

Etihad usually connects Canada and India through its Abu Dhabi hub, so expect at least one stop. Your exact flight times and layover length are confirmed when the ticket is booked.

What it costs

• Toronto to Bangalore on Etihad Airlines: $1,377 CAD

This was the fare FJ quoted for that travel window. Fares change with the date, so if you can shift your departure by a few days, ask us to compare nearby dates. Flexible dates often turn up a better price. Please also confirm with your agent whether a quote is per person and whether it is a return fare.

What is included

• Checked baggage: 2 bags of 23 kg each
• Carry-on: 7 kg hand baggage

Two full checked bags is a generous allowance on a India route. It is especially handy if you are carrying gifts, or if you are staying a few weeks and packing for a longer trip.

Good to know

• Book early for September. Travel to India picks up around festival season, and seats at the lowest fares go first.
• Be flexible if you can. A departure a few days earlier or later can change the price.
• Check your documents. Entry requirements depend on your citizenship and your status in Canada. Make sure your passport is valid for the whole trip and that you hold the right travel documents before you book.
• Confirm baggage rules at booking. Allowances can differ by fare type and airline, so always check them on your ticket.
