Toronto to Ahmedabad on Etihad Airways: Late October Departure, April Return

Planning a long winter stay in Gujarat? Many travellers from Canada head to Ahmedabad in the fall and come back in the spring. Here is a recent fare FJ Travels and Tours quoted on that route.

The route

• Route: Toronto to Ahmedabad, round trip
• Airline: Etihad Airways
• Outbound: late October 2026
• Return: April 2027

This is a stay of roughly six months. Booking this far ahead gives you more choice of dates, and the return can be set for the spring.

What it costs

FJ quoted a fare of $2,340 CAD for this itinerary, taxes included. Fares for several passengers can be quoted together, so when you ask for a price, tell your agent how many people are travelling and ask for the total as well as the price per person.

Good to know

• Flexible dates can help. A request for "any date" in the last week of October gives the agent room to find the best fare. The quote above is for one specific pair of dates.
• Long-stay returns. A return in April 2027 is a long time away, so ask about the fare rules. Check how changes to the return date are handled and what the baggage allowance is.
• Fares change. Airline seat inventory moves quickly, especially in the weeks before the late-October rush. A quote today may not hold for long.
• Check your documents. Make sure your passports are valid for the whole trip and that your India travel documents are in order before you book.
