Saskatoon to Medina Return Flights in March 2027: Turkish Airlines vs Etihad

Flying to Medina from the Prairies can mean a long journey, so it helps to compare your options early. Here is what FJ Travels and Tours recently quoted for a return trip from Saskatoon to Medina in early March 2027, a trip of just over a week.

The route

• Saskatoon → Medina → Saskatoon (return)
• Travel month: early March 2027, returning about a week later
• Airline options: Turkish Airlines or Etihad Airways

Both options are return tickets to and from Saskatoon, so there is no need to build the trip from separate legs.

What it costs

| Option | Airline | Price | Baggage | |---|---|---|---| | 1 | Turkish Airlines | $3,099 CAD | 1 bag | | 2 | Etihad Airways | $3,199 CAD | 2 bags |

The prices are the fares FJ quoted for the ticket and include taxes.

Which option is better?

The fares are only $100 CAD apart, so the baggage allowance may decide it.

• Turkish Airlines is the lower fare. It suits travellers who pack light and can manage with one bag.
• Etihad Airways costs $100 CAD more but includes 2 bags. That can be worth it if you are bringing gifts, extra clothing or items for a longer stay, or if you want to avoid paying for a second bag separately.

Good to know

• Fares and seat availability change often, especially for popular travel months. Spring is a busy time for Saudi Arabia travel, so booking early helps.
• Always check the exact baggage allowance, including carry-on and weight limits, before you confirm.
• If you are travelling with others, ask your agent to confirm the fare for each traveller, since availability can differ by seat.
• If you also need Umrah arrangements, hotels or transfers in Medina, FJ can help put the whole trip together.
