Flights to Mumbai on Ethiopian Airlines, With an Optional Jeddah Stay for Umrah (October 2026)

Planning a trip to Mumbai and thinking about adding Umrah on the way? Here is a look at the fares FJ Travels and Tours quoted in October 2026 for travel in late October and early November. All of them were on Ethiopian Airlines.

The route

The quotes were for flights to Mumbai on Ethiopian Airlines. One option added a stay in Jeddah, so travellers could do Umrah before continuing to India. Two things to check with your agent:

• Ethiopian Airlines routes usually connect through a hub, so layover length matters.
• When you request a quote, ask FJ to compare itineraries with shorter connections.

What it costs

These were the fares quoted:

• Mumbai return with a Jeddah stay: $2,290 CAD. This is the ticket cost only and does not include hotels or Umrah services.
• Mumbai only, Ethiopian Airlines: $1,599 CAD.
• Mumbai, same airline, travelling about 21 October to 5 November 2026: $1,399 CAD.
• Alternative Mumbai itinerary: $1,480 CAD per person.

The lower fare of $1,399 CAD was tied to a specific date pattern, a return trip of about two weeks. Moving your dates by even a day or two can change the price a lot, so flexibility helps.

Good to know

• The Jeddah stay is a ticket-only price. Hotels, transport and Umrah arrangements are separate. FJ can quote a full Umrah package if you want one.
• Check the layover. Cheaper fares can come with long connections. If the layover looks too long, ask for another option, as FJ did here.
• Fares depend on your dates. Travelling on the airline's cheaper days, or staying a few days longer, can bring the price down.
• Compare before you book. Ask for the flight details in writing and check the airline, times and connection before you confirm.
