8-Night Winter Umrah Package from Canada: Makkah and Madinah Prices and Hotel Options

Planning Umrah over the winter break? Late December is one of the busiest times of the year, and prices move quickly. Here is what FJ Travels and Tours quoted in October 2026 for an 8-night package with 4 nights in Makkah followed by 4 nights in Madinah.

The route

• Late December 2026 departure, 8 nights in total
• 4 nights in Makkah, then 4 nights in Madinah
• Return flight included
• Transfers are covered: Jeddah airport to Makkah, Makkah to Madinah, and the Jeddah airport transfer at the end

What it costs

All prices are for the total package, one room, in Canadian dollars.

• Premier, room only: $14,400 CAD (quad room)
• Deluxe with breakfast: $16,350 CAD (quad room)
• Recommended winter break package: $18,900 CAD, with a Makkah Tower regular room (quint) and a quad room in Madinah

• Recommended package: Makkah Tower (regular room) in Makkah, and Jayden Madinah or Crowne Plaza Madinah

What is included

• Hotel stay for 4 nights in each city
• Breakfast in the Deluxe package

Good to know

• Airfares are rising. In this quote, fares had gone up by about $500 CAD per person, though FJ held the ticket rate at $2,250 CAD per person.
• Haram views raise the price. The view requirement is the main reason the package climbs from the $14,400-$18,900 CAD range to $24,750 CAD.
• Prices are short-lived. In the busy winter season, FJ's quotes were valid for only 24 hours.
• Dates matter. Moving departure by a day or two can change the airfare, so be flexible if you can.
• Book early. Hotels close to the Haram fill quickly over the holidays.
